Maiko Palace “EMARSA” is a genuine Maiko transformation shop which is produced by the long-established “GOFUKUTEN”(shop dealing in fabrics for kimono) which was founded 100 years ago and is supported by the Kyoto city Tourist Association and member of Transformation Maiko Dressing Association.
Kimono costs 1 million yen which uses rare hand drawn Yuzen-Dye-Style article made by particular traditional arts and crafts craftsman.
And makeup, kimono dressing is done by a group of expert staff which active in the movie, TV drama, stage business.
Also photographs are taken by the group shop (Photograph shop EMARSA)’s professional cameraman.
So please experience it for your memory of visiting Japan
